Kuwait Airways is a Kuwait-based airline with its headquarters in Kuwait. Formerly the Kuwait national airways were changed to Kuwait airways in 1955. The Kuwait government owns the company. The airline holds a massive fleet of 32 aircraft with modern and advanced luxury that includes

Economy class:

Check-in Policy of Kuwait Airways:

Check-in is available in all modes: online, offline, and mobile app. Online check-in can be done between 24 and 3 hours before the flight’s scheduled departure. Passengers have to submit the e – receipt at the check-in counter and can collect their boarding passes. Please check if online check-in is available in the airports you will board the plane. 

Online check-in is impossible if you are a minor and booked tickets as a group of 10 or more and have asked for medical assistance. We advise you to keep a record of check-in times in your place of boarding. 

Baggage Policy of Kuwait Airways:

Royal and business class passengers can carry three bags weighing 32 kg per piece. Business and economy travelers can take two bags.  Infant bags cannot weigh over 10kg. Oasis club members are allowed to carry one extra bag. 

If you wish to carry extra luggage, you need to pay a charge for it or shop it separately as cargo. Infants are not allowed excess baggage. Passengers are allowed only one carry-on bag to board with. 

You are given a 15% discount for prepaid excess luggage. It can be booked through an online app or the Kuwait airways office. Pre-paid excess baggage will be available until one day before the flight’s departure. It might vary according to the place, route, and cabin class. If unused, money can be refunded or used within one year of booking anytime. Passengers’ luggage can be tracked online by entering bag details. Don’t you worry about losing your bags!

Kuwait airways in the news: 

Kuwait Airways, in collaboration with Kuwait red crescent society, has started an initiative called ‘BALSAM’ to help the less privileged. It also supports the Omniya project to recycle plastic containers.

  • Royal class is only possible on Boeing 777-300.
  • Samsung note 7 is not allowed on all aircraft.
  • No alcohol is served.
