The Museum boasts a robust 50,000 sq ft of space with three floors of interactive art installations, each by cutting-edge contemporary artists, designed to engage and stimulate children.


Step into the eccentric paradigms of Whammock!, which is a gigantic crocheted climbing structure, and El Más Allá, the wonderland of murals and an expansive 40-foot slide to evoke the imagination. Be sure to explore the quirky Teatro Piñata, an interactive DIY puppet theater and costume studio that creates an environment for imagination, storytelling, and the building of socio-emotional skills.


For children dreaming of creative artistic expression, there is Artopia Studios, where they can paint, sculpt, and make pottery. The Innovators LAB provides space for imagining and creating artistic problem-solving, and science is fun!


When your family is ready for a break, you may find family-friendly quiet spaces or a coffee, meal, or snack in the on-site cafe, Bean Sprouts.

  1. By bus: Catch the MTS routes 2,7,11, 30, get off at 1st Ave & Broadway, walk for nearly five minutes to reach the museum.
  2. By car: 

From I-5 South: Take exit 17 to Front St, turn left onto Island Avenue.

From I-5 North: Exit at 16B (6th Avenue) onto Elm St, take a right on Market Street, then left on Front Street to reach Island Avenue.
