Tips for the Best Experience


  • All tickets must be bought through Ticketmaster, any other site may sell fake or overpriced tickets, which won't be accepted. 
  • All ticket sales are final with no refunds or exchanges.
  • Note that the theatre's event box office opens 30 minutes before doors open. 
  • Keep in mind, the theatre has switched to only mobile tickets for entry, so you'll need your phone to enter. The scannable QR code of the ticket will not appear till the day of the event and no screenshots or printouts of the ticket are allowed. 
  • Also, the entire venue is cashless, so be prepared to pay by card or digital wallet.
  • The Paramount Theatre has no on-site parking, but several nearby garages and lots are available, including Telegraph Plaza Garage directly across the street. Limited street parking is also available and some additional parking facilities in the area include 18th and San Pablo, 17th and San Pablo, Franklin Plaza Lot and Douglas Parking Lot.



How to Get There


By Metro (BART)

For travelling via Bart, take any line to 19th Street Oakland Station and exit via the Street/Broadway Exit. The theatre, located at 2025 Broadway, is approximately a 5-minute walk from the station.

By Train

For travelling via Amtrak or ferry, get off at Jack London Square and then take a short ride or an AC Transit bus 12, 72, 51A, or NL to the theatre.

By Bus

There are several AC Transit routes like 6, 12, 33, 51A, 72 or NL that connect to the destination making it a convenient option. 

By Car

If commuting by car, drive via I‑580 or I‑80 to I‑980 and exit at 18th St then follow the signs to Broadway.
