Why Visit Piedmont Park?

Piedmont Park is a top choice for both locals and visitors, offering a relaxing green scenic spot to wander and unwind. It is filled with tall oak and redwood trees, open lawns, curving trails and a quiet creek called Bushy Dell that flows through the area with small man-made waterfalls. The vibe is relaxing and serene and you'll also find a small Japanese-style garden with stone steps and a seating area that adds to the quiet, thoughtful vibe of the park.

There are tons of activities you can indulge in as the place has something for everyone. It is a very family-friendly spot where kids can play in the playground and water play areas. There are also sports fields available for softball, soccer, and beach volleyball, plus a small lake where you can fish, with piers and little bridges. Another good thing about this park is that it is pet-friendly and dog owners can go about and explore the off-leash redwood trail.

Moreover, there are plenty of benches and clean restrooms available around the park, elevating the comfort factor. For food and dining options, you can walk over to nearby Piedmont Avenue, where you'll find ice cream, tacos, coffee, and other quick snacks to indulge in.
