About Children's Fairyland

Children's Fairyland is a whimsical theme park on the shores of Lake Merritt, designed for young kids to let their imaginations run wild through whimsical tales and rides with tons of adventures.

Why Visit Children’s Fairyland?

Children's Fairyland is one of Walt Disney's earliest inspirations and is a whimsical theme park located in Oakland that continues to captivate travelers with its fantastical fusion of enchantment and nostalgia. It was specially designed and curated for toddlers and preschoolers with fun rides, puppet shows, petting zoos, and colorful storybook sets. The highlight of this park is its fairytale-themed attractions, like Alice in Wonderland's tunnel, the Old Woman's Shoe Slide and many more, that allow kids to actively step into their imagination. What makes it truly special is its simplicity, there are no long line-ups or commercial distractions and the tickets are reasonably priced.

It's a secure, low-tech, imaginative playground where children can play freely while adults enjoy the lakeside views. Other than that, it's nearby to Lake Merritt, which is a great place for hanging out or picnicking with your family.

What's more is that the place also hosts events like puppet theatre performances, magic shows, and community story times that increase its appeal for visitors. It is definitely a top choice for families to plan a sweet, wholesome day with their kids and make lifelong memories with them.
