The closest stations to the Chabot, if you take BART, are Fruitvale or Rockridge stations. From there, you'll need a taxi or rideshare, as there's no direct public transport to the hilltop.
AC Transit Bus Line 53 connects Fruitvale BART to the Center. It's advisable to confirm the schedule once before visiting.
Commuting via car is a scenic and convenient option if you take the I-580 or I-880 road and follow the signs to Skyline Blvd. Parking is also available on-site.
