Las Vegas

If luxury and entertainment are what you’re after, Las Vegas absolutely belongs on your travel list. Nestled among desert mountains, Las Vegas may be rocky and arid, but that doesn’t stop it from living up to its title as the Entertainment Capital of the World. The city has long been a favorite of filmmakers, with iconic appearances in movies like Viva Las Vegas and The Hangover.

It’s no surprise that Las Vegas is one of the most visited cities in the USA — and rightfully so. From its legendary casinos and high-stakes energy to an incredible lineup of attractions, there’s something for everyone. Think thrilling theme parks, immersive art galleries, ice rinks in the desert, live music, stand-up comedy, world-class dining, and so much more. Whatever your vibe, chances are, Vegas has it.

Why is it worth visiting Las Vegas?

Las Vegas is a city of extremes — while some may find it overwhelming, others can’t get enough of its nonstop energy. Love it or not, there’s no denying that Las Vegas is worth experiencing at least once, even if it’s just to find out what you don’t like!

What draws millions of visitors each year? Entertainment is at the heart of it all. From world-famous resorts and iconic casinos to luxurious hotels and top-tier shows, you find it all. The city also caters to every taste bud with a diverse dining scene featuring everything from gourmet international cuisine to local favorites.

What might surprise you is Vegas’ thriving art scene — often overlooked, yet attracting more art connoisseurs than you’d expect. With contemporary galleries, immersive exhibits, museums, and even aquariums, there’s more to discover beyond the Strip.

And yes, Las Vegas is family-friendly too! The city offers fun for all ages, with theme park rides like NebulaZ, El Loco Roller Coaster, and Canyon Blaster keeping the kids thrilled. For adventurous adults, there’s no shortage of action — think skydiving, kayaking, helicopter tours, and more.

The bright lights, ornate interiors, and charismatic energy — Las Vegas is a one-of-a-kind destination that truly leaves a lasting impression.

What is the best time to visit Las Vegas?

Las Vegas is a year-round destination, but the best times to visit are from March to May and September to February, when the weather is pleasant and the city hosts a wide variety of events. Here’s a seasonal breakdown to help you plan your trip:

March to May: Spring in Las Vegas brings warm days and cooler nights — perfect for exploring the Strip or lounging by the pool without the intense summer heat. While visitors are always present, this season typically sees a lighter crowd, making it easier to find hotel deals and enjoy a slightly more relaxed pace.

Events to look out for: NASCAR Weekends (March and September)

Billboard Music Awards (May)

June to August: Summers in Las Vegas can be scorching, with daytime temperatures often soaring above 100°F (38°C). That said, early mornings and late evenings are still enjoyable, and many travelers take advantage of lower hotel prices and summer break schedules. Expect short rain showers and family events during the summer break.

Events to look out for: Juneteenth Festival (June)

September to November: Fall is arguably the best season to visit Las Vegas, with comfortable weather and a packed events calendar. However, it’s also a peak travel time, so booking your accommodations and show tickets in advance is highly recommended.

Events to look out for: World Series of Poker (September-November)

December to February: Winter is one of the most popular times to visit Las Vegas, thanks to the holiday season and major events like New Year's Eve. While nights can get chilly, daytime temperatures are mild and perfect for walking the Strip or exploring indoor attractions.

Events to look out for:

Las Vegas Ball (December)

New Years’ Eve (December)
