The Orange Peel isn’t just a concert hall — it’s a living part of Asheville’s heart.

Whether you come with a partner, friends, family, or alone — whether you love music, photos, or just the pulse of local life — The Orange Peel has a little magic for all kinds of travellers.

The building that houses The Orange Peel has lived many lives: it was once a roller‑skating rink in the 1950s, later a bowling alley, then a series of soul and R&B clubs.

In 2002, the venue was reborn as The Orange Peel Social Aid & Pleasure Club.
